How many times is a remake better than the original, or even just as good? Not too often.

Yeah, everything is "more of the same." I would say Uncharted is original in how they actually filmed their actors on a set instead of just recording their voices in a booth, but whatevs.
You know these guys who use that line of criticism are going to cream themselves when the next Call of Duty or Final Fantasy comes out.
Whenever a game gets MASSIVE praise like this, it pisses me off. Uncharted 2 deserves its awesome scores for sure, but it just makes me think, "Where were you assholes when Drake's Fortune came out?"
There's so much bandwagoning with reviewers. I agree with the author that people are afraid to be critical of a game that's riding a tidal wave of hype.
I do think he's retarded for calling Uncharted a Tomb Raider ripoff, though.
MGS 4's dialog is mostly a bunch of nonsense that goes on forever, but the game is also full of giant robots and fart jokes. I think it's plenty accessible to kids.
This is why you can't take reviews for these hyped up games seriously - they're paid-for. I want to know who's taking Ubisoft up on this offer.
Arkham Asylum was awesome until they blew it with that stupid ass fight with Hulked out Joker. I can never play this game again knowing that's what it all leads up to.

Dead Rising 2 is being made by CANADIANS, and they totally get the kind of humor that made DR 1 so much fun. Look at this video before you doubt these guys.
So far it looks like it's kicking the original's ass all over the place.
I think the demo is going to be taken down when the actual game comes out.
Driver 3 is one game where the glitches actually make the experience so much more fun.
